The United Nations University Biotechnology Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNU-BIOLAC) supports training and research at the intersection of science, technology, and society, demonstrating how modern biotechnology can encourage social and economic development.

Our Application process for fellowships in biotechnology for 2024 is open.

Applications are sought from Latin America and the Caribbean researchers who pursue the highest level of research excellence with a demonstrated passion for delivering social impact in biotechnology.

Each UNU-BIOLAC fellowship member is expected to perform specialised research at a laboratory throughout the LAC region for no more than three months. All fellows must deliver a final technical report that includes their main findings and fulfil all other initial requests to complete their fellowships.

Antes de realizar la postulación, deberán contar con el aval de la ORI y de la VCTI. 
Notas:
* Las propuestas que tengan componentes de investigación deberán contar con el aval de la Vicerrectoría de Ciencia y Tecnología de la UAN, antes de ser sometidas.
* Las convocatorias que impliquen el desarrollo de un producto de internacionalización o una movilidad internacional, deberán tener el aval del jefe inmediato, indicando que el aplicante contará con las horas de trabajo y el permiso para desarrollar la propuesta o la estancia internacional.
